Youth Shelters : Attention Solution
July 5th, 2010
Conventional teaching has always been within the four walls of the classrooms with the student sitting in rows all facing the board and teacher usually in the front of the class.
This has proved functional from experience. However, in certain instances, teachers require a face to face scenario where all students are positioned directly in front of the teacher.
An example is during science lessons and demonstrations of concepts. In these cases the youth shelters offer an invaluable solution; with their hexagonal design and integral perimeter seating, they provide each student with an equal opportunity without obstruction to observe and simulate whatever the teacher is demonstrating.
Since youth shelters provide protection from adverse weather conditions, the students can stay along as they desire and just learn as they would, if not better in a four walled classroom only this time in a different environment. Change is a good as medicine.
Teachers are likely to get more attention in this setting of learning and observe all students. This translates to more attention by students, higher chances of understanding of the concepts and less repetitions and all these make learning fun and adventurous.
The system can also be used for debate classes where student stand in front of their peers ad make their presentations. Covered Walkways offer maximum audience and attention. Once teachers are able to teach with less effort the more they are likely to be motivated. In the end it’s a win-win situation for both the teacher and student.
